ADVANCE YOUR LABVIEW APPLICATIONS WITH
VISTA TRAINING
VIEs
VISTA expanded my horizons. Through it, LabVIEW is really
a programming language, not just a bench top instrument. --
Keith Burris, Senior Engineer
Lawrence Livermore National Labs
Do you see this happening in
your test systems?
- Does every project possess its own unique architecture?
- Are existing applications hard to adapt to changing
requirements?
- Do different styles get in the way of sharing code with your
peers?
- Do new team members reinvent the programming wheel?
- Do new applications get bogged down at startup?
- Are programming practices clogging software development...creating
a logjam?
Designing Reusable Architectures
This four-day course is divided into four sections. Day I begins
by highlighting the central theme of reuse. The student is then
taught techniques and styles of
programming and introduced to tools for everyday use, such as object-oriented
templates and the class generator tool. This leads up to the student
building an application using techniques learned in Days 1 and 2.
Reflecting National Instruments latest upgrade, this course
incorporates key LabVIEW 6i features such as property nodes
to improve user interface design.
